My wife and I are staying at the Hyatt Regency in Bloomington / Minneapolis and a family of five (2 adults, 3 kids) all had breakfast in the Hyatt lounge and were barefoot. Yes, no shoes, no socks.

I spoke to the attenant and she she said she would check with management. Now, there are plenty of kids here and all are wearing some form of footwear, so it is not an issue with children. As well, isn’t there some sort of health code and you can’t have bare foot where food is served?
