I don't mind the bag, but could live without it, but I do mind having to hunt for it. It seems more and more common to store it somewhere outside the bathroom, and I agree with the comment above that playing that game when you're in a rush trying to get ready is not fun. Now I make it a point to play that game the night before to avoid any problems in the morning - I had one occasion where it was gone and they had to send me a replacement, which was broken.

In addition to moving the hairdryers out of the bathroom, it also seems more common to have a situation where there's no outlet in the bathroom that the hairdryer can be plugged into, which means you may end up drying your hair in some random part of the room that has an outlet but no mirror.

One hotel in London had the hairdryer built in to the desk, and you had to flip up the desk top to get it. There were no markings and so it was not at all intuitive, and you had to clear everything off the desk in order to get at the hairdryer (or flip it all onto the ground) which was not an intelligent design.

This tends to be more of a problem at nicer hotels. If you're going to operate a four or five star hotel, you should pay a person who wasn't involved in designing the room to stay there for a night and uncover stupid problems like this.
