I can confirm it worked at OGG. Not sure why I thought it wouldn’t. It was a pretty small lot and even though it’s mostly emerald aisle it didn’t seem to have the best selection of cars. Or maybe they had just been cleared out by earlier rentals. At any rate, all good with the Autoslash reservation.

It's worked in all the other airport with aisle service that folks have tried so not sure why OGG would be any different, but would be good to get a report from someone who has rented there to confirm.
