Right now all JFK-MIA flights are operated by 757 or 763 with lie flat seats. I personally prefer the 757s - smaller cabins and entertainment system is in seat (vs. tablets on 763s). The 763s do have the benefit of having single window seats if you're travelling solo.
Next year they add some 738s, none of which will be lie flat.
