You can route on BA via LHR, or for more TPs via HEL-JFK/ORD/LAX-SFO (JFK-SFO makes most sense TP-wise + A321T product)
I managed to book GOT-HEL-JFK-SFO-LAX-HEL-OSL for £1.6k / 540TPs (£2.96/TP). So open jaw is possible.
Also possible to book as BA Holidays. All on BA codes, so nice Avios earner as well (~33k).

I've just booked an ex-GOT to PHX (GOT-LHR//LCY-JFK-PHX//PHX-PHL-LHR-ARN) on the AA website. 640 TPs for £1,560 = £2.45 per TP. Babybus on the outward, upper-deck 747 on the return.
Options to route via HEL and/or LAX were available, sometimes at a higher fare, but I was prioritising convenience of the schedule and minimising hotel costs over maximising TPs.
