I assume you were taken straight from the aircraft after landing to hospital by emergency services. If not, it might be hard to prove that the accident with such consequences was in the responsibility of LO.
I also find it quiet strange that you start inquiring whom to approach and sue after more than 5 months after the incident. I hope for you all is well documented. Otherwise.....
