The reseating logic is so, well, illogical. Just turfed out of first row CW J/K seats on next Monday’s BA18 from ICN. So, they have changed from a 788 to a 789, I get that but why then put us in 11E/F including the dreaded coffin seat. 11J/K was empty and I have quickly taken it. The rest of the cabin looks reasonably empty too, so why put us in such terrible seats? Surely the automatic reseating program can put us in seats that most closely resemble our original wishes when these are clearly available.
It's not only BA that do this, I find Qatar the worst for this, especially with last minute aircraft changes. We are travelling to Male in Dec with 2 kids aged 5 and 8 and when they made a change last week, they put us all in different rows!
