I don't subscribe to the notion of a dress code in F, but the way the OP mentioned 'boxer shorts' it immediately sounded 'not quite right'. The OP can use the PJs provided on the outbound for the flight home as well (take them with him from the first flight). That way there's at least one new pair of PJs to take home as a gift.
