I'm going to have MVPG for one more year but not sure how much use I'll get out of it as an Oakland resident. Many of the perks just get you up to matching regular schmuck no status on WN and any other benefits have to be weighed against extra time getting to/from SFO and added delays there. Unfortunately AS seems happy to let WN have semi-monopoly power on most large routes at OAK. I'll be sad to give up my status on AS but it will simplify things, allowing me to use WN for most western travel and then to consider all options at SFO for transcon and international trips.
