Make sure you catch hold of AI people after you deplane to get them to help you.

The problem is of course that there is no AI flight till late evening to CCU. But if you keep letting AI folks know while after you deplane and while you're doing immigration etc. you should be ok. Stressed out and exhausted from running around but just about ok.
Thanks for the advice. Of course the trouble is that my inbound intl flight is often a bit late, and that would make it impossible I guess. So is there AI people around usually calling for onward passengers? Thanks again!
