While this is all technically accurate, do you think all of those acronyms will be helpful to a first time poster?

For the original poster:

MCT = Minimum Connection Time. The shortest 'legal' connection time that an airline will sell at a given airport. Varies by airline and airport, and whether you are connecting international to international, international to domestic, domestic to international, or domestic to domestic.
DL = Delta Air Lines
AS = Alaska Airlines
AA = American Airlines
UA = United Airlines
EU = European Union
EC261/2004 = Rules the EU adopted regarding passenger compensation. Basically, under certain circumstances you can be entitled to compensation for certain disruptions in your trip when departing from EU airports (summary here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight...ation_261/2004)
SEA = Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac)
