Any thoughts from the experts would be appreciated!

On Friday I was looking at fares Pdx-Pvr. Travelocity was showing 2 fare at $283+, one that required Tues/Wed travel, the other any day of the week. Went to alaskaair.com and validated the fare for any day of the week. Needed to confirm dates with friends, came back to book today and it's up to $433+.

Any thoughts? Was this an e-deal that ended Friday night? Or was the $283+ allowing travel anyday an error that was corrected? How likely are we to see fares like that again?
