Thats an understatement! I had a quick look at the Beijing ones on Trip Advisor and they all looked pretty grim. And price showing between US$28 and $50 a night for the various hotels so not exactly a huge benefit.
I don't think the 'luxury transit hotels' are included in that list? Although I wouldn't expect much either way...
