Twisted Seat Belts
From time to time (on several airlines) I sit in a seat in which the safety belt has been installed "upside down"...meaning you must give it a twist in order to orient it properly. I never gave it much thought until I came across this information on a transportation safety web-site: Belts should never be worn twisted. In a crash, you wouldn’t have the full width of the belt to take impact forces. The twisted belt against your body could cause injuries.
Cause for concern or silly?
