Arrgh….. Since I get 2 mailers a month, I just put them in my desk until it's time to use them. I hadn't really looked at the 12/15 ones because it will be several months before I can use them. Since they said 60K on the front, I assumed it was the same offer as before, but
NO, they are the new 50K/$3K + plus 10K/$3K more offers.
Up until now, out of an overabundance of caution, I haven't been asking for the match to 70K, since I've already been getting 60K or 65K just for the min spnd. But I'm not spending an additional $3K for a measly 10K miles, so it's time to start asking for the match instead. Ironically, just as Citi has made it harder to do that.
