It might be worth getting a 10 year visa even if you don't need it. I know you have been asking about good mileage runs for Alaska status. AA has a lot of good LAX-PEK/PVG deals in premium economy that you may want to take advantage of. I've done quite a few in the last 3 years to keep status.
