I have rooms booked at the Conrad using points and upgrade available to an overwater bungalow for about $300USD per night. I also have Moorea booked some on points and then using Citi 4th night free credit card in an overwater bungalow. (Conrad had all nights available on points, but Hilton only had some) So both rooms are costing me about the same. However to get Conrad will cost me about $1500 in RT airfare.
If you could only go to one resort, with well behaved kids who just want to swim and snorkel, where would you go? I like to plan nice vacations and don't mind spending some $$ while planning, but hate being nickel and dimed once i am there. At either of these resorts are their reasonable restaurants, a least for some meals?
Um...........Conrad for sure. If you went to Tahiti and didnt go to Bora Bora then as soon as you leave you will regret not going to BB. And after that will have to spend money again to get back to a place you could have already visited. I stayed at Thalasso and Hilton Moorea this year and Bora Bora is just on another level compared to Moorea. The kids will have fun wherever you take them, I took my 3 kids and they equally enjoyed both. The only thing the kids loved about the Hilton was the personal pool we had in our suite, otherwise they remember more about Bora Bora.
