If you look at fares on ExpertFlyer you will also see different prices for the same exact bucket and fare rules. The price differentiation is determined by how closely the fare is purchased before departure so it is possible for the fare to increase without a change in inventory. In your example, $599 may apply to a fare purchased up to 14 days before departure while if it is sooner than 14 days the price is $799 up to 7 days prior, etc....
