They have no idea whether your guest stays in your room or not, so as long as they enter with you, no problem. It would require a lot of nerve on the part of the lounge attendants to ask for proof they stayed in your room. Still, I think this is a clarification of the original intent rather than a change. I doubt you'll notice any actual change in how it works for you.
