I also doubt any property is ever going to ask, but I have no problem with it being a hotel guest. Dragging random people off the street for free food doesn't seem to be what I would expect as an elite program benefit.

That is quite odd, but it reads that way. In fact, not just in the evening but "during normal hours of operations " I.e., you have no lounge access at all.

It also says it's not applicable when "the brand offers an approved alternative. " "The brand" is a Marriott brand - do they not know which of their brands offers an alternative? (Do they mean "property"?)
