Ah! I forgot the timing component! I purchased on 10/10 - and knew there was no space I just needed the CoS bonus for MVPG. And after posting that I just received the email from AS that I am upgraded. There are now 3 open F seats after my upgrade and 1 D fare left. So must be an elite light flight (Friday red-eye funtimes....) Thanks all!
