Yes, this seems to be a part of the new game AY is playing. Rolling availability. They open 5+ seats on a certain flight for a while, then bring it back down to zero, and move on to another flight with 5+. Rinse repeat.
I've seen it on SH routes where the 5+ seats move between different departures on the same day.
