This is a key question. Assuming I get through Security, I'll arrive at the UC around 8:00pm, with an onward BP for a UA flight at 11:00am the next morning. The Club closes at midnight, so it's not like I can wait until midnight and then try to get in. My goal is to get in, shower, then head into town.
And that's what I don't think is worth the special effort of clearing transit security without a same day BP, then arguing with the UA lounge dragons, then finding someone to escort you back down to the arrivals level (which you cannot reach on your own from the departures level).
I'd just go to the Plaza Premium Arrivals lounge.
