I'd like to do the following and wanted to check whether it could work.

Two of us are looking to book first class returns LON-LAS using avios.
- I have a joker to unlock the reward space
- I have a GUF2 to upgrade from business to first
- My friend has the Avios
- We both have an Amex 241 voucher

What I'd like to do is book using his Avios, my joker, and my GUF2. I understand this should be possible if I pay for the cash element. Would it be possible to also use a BA241 voucher, either mine or his?

I could pay the Avios myself which would make the whole booking simple, but since I have a free transfer of 27k per calendar year, it seems better if he pays the Avios and then I can transfer him 54k Avios over the next couple of months so we're broadly even.

Grateful for any observations or creative ideas.
