Have seen that happen more and more recently, as well. Was surprised to see shorter UG lists than previously, but last week was upgraded for a flight a few hours prior and no longer showed on UG list.

I have noticed if a sweep moves you to F you drop off the list, If the gate moves you to F you stay on the list showing checkmark and an F seat.
Saw a new permutation this weekend: 2 person reservation, both upgraded in a sweep 8 hours before departure -- the pax who booked stayed on the list while the second pax disappeared.
Hard to understand why this is changing for the worse... Wish there was a way we could get AS to explain what is going on and what their plan to address it is.
