OP could move out of row 1, hence removing the block. Then move the silver partner into row 1, followed by OP placing themselves next to their partner.
Of course this needs to happen quickly, as otherwise someone else might grab the seats.
Would be interesting to see what happens here as Silvers also generate seat blocks next to them. no idea if it would immediately open up to a gold once the silver has row 1 occupied and blocked
