Recently completed a SEA-PEK r/t in J with my spouse. His ticket was purchased, mine was on AS award. We really liked their J product - several positives over the J product of Cathay, British, EVA and Emirates are pajamas, turn down service, staff to pax ratio, and towncar transfers with paid J (Emirates does have this). The meet and greet in PEK was great - met at the gangway, escorted through passport control, baggage claim, through the airport until the car was reached. Lounge in PEK had good food, with a cook to order window that actually has the elusive jian bing (listed on the menu as "hamburger" for some reason, but we saw the crepe machine and were clued in). Lounge also has the tea ceremony (kung fu) that we enjoyed. Staff are so attentive that when they noticed my husband pocketing some mini Cote d'Or bars for the plane they brought him a gift bag full of them.
