There is definitely a country-specific expectation about CP. While there are probably some nice CPs in the United States, I won't stay at the chain unless its a 1-night stay at a substantial price discount to other properties.

In Asia Pacific CPs are consistently good, I can't remember a single CP that was really disappointing (as such, but not for quality/price ratio – they seem to be overpriced in many cases). For APAC, in my view CP is very quality-consistent brand in fact.
