So there is a promo right now on the AAdvantage eshopping site where you get 4 AA miles instead of one for booking. What if the stay is for next year? How is the IT system sophisticated enough to know and capture the stay once it actually happens?

Marriott systems are so screwed up right now I just can’t imagine it can tell if the stay really occurs and not cancelled.
