We submitted a claim for price match via online system and after no response for more than 24hrs, we decided to call hilton to check the status. People were taking word claim for 'complaint', and then after multiple calls and not to mention multiple departments, we were forced to cancel the booking. We were alsi told that price match dept. Only communicates via email. Reading stuff on this forum seems like hiltonrepresentative is saying something different.

whatever the case be, they basically don't want to honor the claim and then just sit on the claim and let other comparable hotels on other websites raise prices. So, as a customer you are just left with no option. We lost the good price on other website, waiting for hilton to respond and eventually lost both.
