Regarding BB vs Maldives, I think I remember in some other thread you commented that perhaps BB = Boring Boring so maybe you would find Maldives even worse. In BB there is more to do including activities on the main island, whereas in the Maldives you are completely isolated on a small private island. The flip side of that is that it makes the Maldives a more exclusive experience. In addition, dining, hotel hardware, and privacy in the villa, are all superior in the Maldives. I think it's great to have both available in the St.Regis portfolio because it offers different things to different people with different preferences.
