For those without maps...this is probably a fine choice for Fenway, but for downtown attractions, it is a bit of a stretch distance-wise. It's the equivalent of staying in Brooklyn if you want to visit sites in Manhattan. Other than the D-line, which is pretty fast, the B and C are very slow to get downtown. It is also misleading to call it Boston, since it is in either Chestnut Hill or Brookline. Definitely not Boston.
