Lightbulb An Interesting Channel To Express your Dissatisfaction with QR Enhancements

Hi QR-Flyers,

I recently came back from a return trip in J from Heathrow. As usual, the crew manager comes to greet you at the beginning and at the end of the flight. Well this time, I took the opportunity to express my displeasure with the recent "enhancements" QR imposed on all its Privilege Club Members. To my surprise, none of the Cabin crew managers on each leg (who are specifically asked to promote Qatar Privilege Club programme), were aware of the drastic devaluation of the Qmiles and suppression of numerous services for Platinum members.

One of them told me that that they noticed less Platinum members flying Qatar over the past 3 months. Naturally I told them that the enhancements might have played a role here. They thanked me for this and took copious notes that they will forward to their direct in-flight service manager (who seems to be close to Akbar Al Baker). It seems that the outsourcing company running the Qmiles queries is not really audited and the cabin crew managers felt that they were stabbed in the back by folks undermining their efforts to promote the Frequent Flyer programme.

Thus I would like to encourage you all to share your thoughts on the programme devaluation with the cabin crew managers if you have the chance to fly QR in the coming weeks. The more complain they hear, the higher the chances they may reconsider the drastic devaluations of the Frequent Flyer programme.

PS: By the way both LHR-DOH and DOH-LHR had only 50 people in Economy out of more than 250 seats available. There were between 15 and 20 passengers in J
