Do you have a photo of it cut into? There aren't many vegetarian items that has the texture of chicken. I used to frequent a vegetarian diner in San Diego that had meat-like dishes (like honey walnut shrimp) where the tofu was shaped and colored like meat, including chicken, salmon and shrimp. However, you can tell that it's tofu by its texture.
