I wonder if this would be to test the waters to eventually cut JFK-MXP if Air Italy joins the TATL JV? Does AA have a spare widebody plane for this?
AA will not cut JFK-MXP. AA is actually successful in Milan because the local carrier is weak and they fly to NYC and MIA, the primary TATL markets for Milan-centered industries (fashion and banking).
