What’s the max CL chase will put on a card? We recently closed one of my wife’s 2 SWA cards and moved the $33k limit to her Sapphire (not Preferred) card, which already had $35k. The other SWA card is at $33k too, but not sure if I should try to move it and close or just close and lose the CL. Not planning to sign up my wife for new chase cards for at least 24 months.
Is there another card you could do a product change to which has a lower/no AF? I agree that losing the history wouldn't be the preferred route. After that, you could move a good portion of that limit to something else without much (if any) fuss from Chase.
