End of Year Advice

Seeking some advice for the end of year. I will be staying in hotels long-term for the foreseeable future (2+ months at a minimum). I know Lifetime Silver means nothing. I know Lifetime Gold means almost nothing (since Plat is the one I care about for lounge access). With that being said, should I stop staying at Marriott Hotels once I hit my 75 nights and try to obtain status with another chain such as Hyatt? Or should I continue chugging away with Marriott to get Lifetime Gold and hopefully maybe Lifetime Plat within the next couple years as well as accruing points. I am 90% sure I will most likely NOT hit 20K in spending for ambassador status (nor do I think it would benefit me much as I book all my hotels myself). What would you do?

I have no other hotel statuses. I fly primarily on United Airlines (1K so I know I get Marriott Gold anyway...sigh). I'm sort of young (in my early 20s) so I can see a benefit for Lifetime Statuses. But I do know terms and conditions change and I understand what I earn could be absolutely meaning-less (and lounge-less) 20 years from now.

Current Status: Plat Premier at 60 nights (and accruing daily)
Current Lifetime: Silver (100 nights away from Lifetime Gold...300 nights from Lifetime Platinum)
