I stayed at a CP in Cleveland this summer and I agree with the other comments it looked tired and dated.

Thinking back the main distinguishing feature of CP may have been that it had banquet/party rooms.

I used points so I didn't care but I wouldn't pay extra for this over a Holiday Inn Express.
