I want to say the Westin Bayshore is only a few blocks away from the cruise port. It is walkable to the cruise port (probably around a 15 minute walk), but if you have a lot of luggage that could make it a bit cumbersome trying to walk it. We decided to take the Uber ride to make things easier on ourselves. But if you're young, strong and hardy, I suspect you could walk it with luggage.
