yes Ahlan 1st, a very welcome change from the EK lounge despite being in Terminal 1

ala carte menu, Champagne, fairly good food/service, comfortable seating and not crowded the few times I have been there

this is one reason I am flying Oman, for individual Dubai flights connecting from QR , I am buying their cheapest ticket and being treated well, unlike how QR treat their Platinum members

I also bought some inexpensive Oman long haul J flights for December + January to see how they stack up against QR or EK
