My roommate and I are going SEA-ORD for my bday in December. She is going to stay in the midwest and start her Christmas early, though I will be returning to SEA. I called in to drop her from the return leg, but the Boise agent was unable to do so without canceling my return and having me buy a new, possibly more expensive ticket. Since I am the primary ticketholder, she can just no-show on the way back without repercussions, right? Is there a way to drop her so that I'm only one person on the upgrade list? Agent suggested I could split the res after we land in ORD - would that work?
