I would hope you don't have to do immigration on arrival at LGW from GLA! Unlike the north terminal, there is no indoor airside path in the south terminal for domestic arrivals so you are bused to the domestic arrivals door from the aircraft. You have to go out through the baggage hall to landside, then up to security and back airside if connecting onwards.
