I am not sure why my post got moved to the end of a different one, any idea?

I have just called Emirates and they say that we will immediately return to Blue status on 31st December. There is apparently no leeway whatsoever and no way of having it extended other than booking another flight.

I mentioned the two months referred to and he said it was "nonsense". His word not mine.

So thanks for the reply but it appears nothing can be done.
