That's the coverage of the top of the range Amex Aeroplan Plus Reserve Card. So I cannot see the coverage for Aeroplan Plus Gold and Platinum to be any better.
Yes, it makes no sense and that's why I kept my CIBC Aerogold Visa Infinite Privilege which covers me when I fly on an Aeroplan ticket!
