My father gives no indication of ever wanting to fly again, so this is a purely hypothetical question.

We have the same first and last names, and the same middle initial. Is there anything that would stop him from using my FF number (and status) when flying United? It always seemed to be the perfect plan when he was flying internationally a fair bit, but we never got around to it. (Also, I didn't have status.)

There may be ethical questions involved, but I don't see any way of being caught. (Aside from doing something silly like us both flying on the same flight.)
