It was a success. So to summarize:

1. Purchased $2k of MO at 8:20am Thursday morning, followed by $6k more at three stops later Thursday. All four stops required DL info to be entered.
2. Stopped at WM at 7:45am Friday morning. DL info was entered, following by message to inform customer they had reached their MO limit. Left with no MO.
3. Stopped at another DFW area WM. Purchased $999 MO, no ID required.
4. Stopped at third WM, asked for $2k of MO. DL info was entered and transaction was successful for $2k of MO (4 swipes). This was approximately 8:30am, so 24 hours and 10 minutes after first purchase Thursday.

So looks like the 24 hour rolling $8k limit theory might be spot on.
