My Amex Hilton Ascend AF came due after the first year. i had minimal spend beyond sign up bonus. First they offered me 10k bonus points after $2k in spend in 3 months. I decline that so they offered me to downgrade to the free Hilton card. I decline that. Their final offer was a $50 statement credit after spending $1k in 3 months. I declined that and opted to move the credit line to my SPG Luxury card.
