I don't specifically know for N or M fares, but I have booked an H fare that was fully refundable. Regardless, it only earned 1 Q point/mile. At the time, my ticketing agent told me that AA offered 7 day advance purchase refundable tix on that route, which booked into H. Only Y and B fares will earn the 1.5 Q pts though.
