PIK is one of the strategic airports in case of lot of situations... on flights going TATL

Approach over the sea with very little land between the runway and the sea.
Also approach is not over large enhabited areas.

When the G8 was at Gleneagles, George W arrived at PIK before being transfer to the hotel, rather than arriving at GLA or EDI
