First, does your hotel even have FFN availability for your date? There's something GP has to do to your record or reservation to link the FFN with the stay, so your circumstances definitely indicate you'll need to make a call to GP. Last year I had a stay booked well in advance with FFN's earned well in advance. I got a nasty call from the front desk a couple hours after checking in telling me the stay wasn't showing as a FFN and that I'd better straighten it out with GP or they'd charge me rack rate. This was even though it showed as a FFN stay on my account. Anyway, I called GP and they did whatever needed to be done to straightened it out. The only time I've ever had a problem. The point is, you will have to call GP--it won't work even if the stay posts right away.
